Cannes Is Up supports the Cannes Endowment Fund and its local environmental approach

Cannes Is Up supports the Cannes Endowment Fund via its DDA5 tombola by donating €2,000 in favor of the protection of Posidonia in the bay of Cannes!

An operation in total alignment with the theme of the French Tech Côte d’Azur Startup Summit 2022: “Corporate Social Responsibility and Impact”!

During the 5th edition of the DDA, Cannes Is Up, organizer of this annual event, presented a €2,000 check to the Cannes Endowment Fund, represented by Mrs. Anny Courtade in her capacity as sponsor and founding administrator.

An opportunity for the latter to recall the origin of the Fund, its vocation “to act by the Cannes citizens, for the Cannes citizens”, but also its current theme: the preservation of the local environment and the enhancement of the natural heritage of Cannes.

More specifically, this generous Cannes Is Up check will support the PRIME project, dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Posidonia “Posidonia Restauration Initiative for a resilient Mediterranean Ecosystem”, designed around several axes:

  • the preservation of Posidonia through education, awareness and monitoring;
  • the restoration of damaged posidonia;
  • the low-carbon certification of the project, also including a study on the extension of ecological anchorage areas.

And a big thank you to Cannes Is Up for this great back-to-school DDA event and their participation in this local project!
